Lower East

it’s the blog

This is the blog for lower east & lower east lab. A mix of stuff from our design & communication world (things we do, things we have done, and things we experience and get inspired from) and news from our lab – where all kind of actions and experiments can happen – that be workshops, creative meetings, urban safaris (with focus on start up, architecture, design or food), and exhibitions, events, dinners and a lot more.

new bauhaus posters

September 9, 2014

The Bauhaus-Archiv Museum in Berlin just had a new corporate identity, created by the Stuttgart-based design agency L2M3.

New website, new typeface, new logo – and this absolute wonderful quartet of posters; Oskar Schlemmer’s “Triadic Ballet”, Marcel Breuer’s world-famous tubular steel chair, the building of the Bauhaus-Archiv – a work by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius and Marianne Brandt’s tea infuser and strainer.
