Lower East

it’s the blog

This is the blog for lower east & lower east lab. A mix of stuff from our design & communication world (things we do, things we have done, and things we experience and get inspired from) and news from our lab – where all kind of actions and experiments can happen – that be workshops, creative meetings, urban safaris (with focus on start up, architecture, design or food), and exhibitions, events, dinners and a lot more.

Grand Boucle, Berlin

July 25, 2012

Graphic design, silk screen printing and cycling. What a cool combination. Lower East hopped on the bike to see the exhibition Grand Boucle; “’Grand Boucle’ is a study of racing bicycles from 1903 until 2009, presented in the form of a magazine and silk screen poster collection of vintage bicycle head badges.“ The exhibition is created of the gallery and screen printing house Mother Drucker and the graphic designer Chipsnchampagne, both based in Berlin.
The magazine, silk screen posters of head badges and the exhibition poster will be on display and on sale during the event.

The exhibition takes place at Urban Spree Gallery
, Revaler Str. 99, in Berlin
until 27th July 2012. So hurry up if you want to see the very fine exhibition, opening hours 11-19.

Grand Boucle is the nickname of Tour de France, and means ‘big loop’.
