Lower East dropped by Skagens Museum, Denmark and checked out the exhibition “Arven fra Anchers“ (“The Legacy of the Anchers“). The exhibition are showing works from the archives of the artist couple Michael and Anna Ancher’s home. We found a lot interesting and impressive stuff at the exhibition; sketches and studies on canvas and on paper, showed together with artwork both from the couple and from their daughter; Helga Ancher – and in addition to that paintings and drawings that they have collected over the years in the artist colony in Skagen.
