Museum of Things, or Museum der Dinge as we say in Berlin. Just around the corner from Lower East Lab you find this little pearl; a museum with things! Beautiful things, storytelling things, strange things, design things….

Besides shifting exhibitions Museum der Dinge is the archive of the Deutsche Werkbund. The organization was founded in 1907, and became one of the leading organizations for German artists, designers, and manufacturers.

The Lower East team visited the museum the other day – and enjoyed both the archive and the current exhibition “Masse und Klasse: Graphic Design in the GDR”.

We took of course a lot of photos there, and played around with some of them in our digital darkroom…
