Hack the city 16.05.2015
May 17, 2015
Very fine and intense Saturday in the Lower East Lab – a group of young talents joined the urban workshop HACK THE CITY to discuss THE FUTURE OF WORK.
Hack the city is a code-free ideathon where young creatives, architects, futurists, artists and people with an interest in society come together to discuss the future of work. The workshop was arranged by the Swedish city of Sundbyberg and is part of a bigger reconstruction project of the city. The workshop was facilitated by the Stockholm-and-Malmö based innovation company Shuhuu.
To get the ideas flying, the Berlin based Swedish artist Gustav Hellberg created an interactive art installation to the event. With sensors and sounds, the installation contributed and complemented to the work during the whole day.
Lower East Lab were hosting, doing a short presentation on our version of the future of work and doing the lunch for the hungry talents. Thanks for the visit – very good to have a bunch of creative and joyful people in d’house!
The ideathon will continue it’s mini-world-tour, and show up in London on next Saturday May 23th. Sign up for the event here:
