52 new designers have just graduated from Kolding School of Design, Denmark. From 26 June to 28 July their projects will be on display at the Museum Koldinghus in Kolding.
Among the new designers, two of them have for a period been in safe hands as interns at Lower East, we are more than happy and very proud to welcome Cecilie Marie Skov and Jonas Prip Thorsen to the World of Designers. Wishing you both and the rest of the gang all the best!
On the schools webpage we found this: “The frame that captures this year’s Kolding School of Design Graduation Exhibition is full of contrasts. Graduation 2013 comprises the graduation projects of more than fifty new designers and represents the culmination of five years of design studies. Framed by the past, the designers give us their take on the future.
The exhibition is a unique opportunity to experience the huge range of the design profession in the hands of a new generation; the future designers are craftsmen, theorists, aesthetes, data collectors, innovative and so much more. Yet most of all, the new designers are driven by a commitment and a vision to create a better world.“
These days, and until 8 July, the new designers from Kolding School of Design in Denmark (Designskolen Kolding) show their master’s projects.
Lower East checked it out at the opening this tuesday, what a lot of fantastic projects we saw there and what an amazing lot of talent. Go check out the exhibition, it’s really worth the travel.
The exhibition is open until 8 July Mondays to Sundays 10-18 and Thursdays 10-21.
Venue: Nicolai, Skolegade 2, 6000 Kolding, Denmark.
