96 pages filled with delicious food recipes from Camillos Kitchen, stories by Jørgen Smidstrup, cosy knitting patterns from the knitting queen of Denmark, Marianne Isager, playful design and illustrations by Helle Marietta and wonderful photos of food, knit and the amazing nature in Tversted by Malthe Ivarsson.

In the book you’ll find six beautiful pullovers, a lovely scarf, nice cloths, crisp pizzas, fresh salads, delightful snacks, fresh-caught fish, spicy mussels, sweet cakes – and drinks for the sunset at the beach. All the models are local friends from Tversted. The porcelain and ceramics on the food photos are from local ceramists (Dorthe Hansen and Anne Midtgaard), second hand shops and private loans.

EAT & KNIT / SPIS & STRIK is also about the need to pause, – and about finding pride in creating with your hands. The book was created at the former elementary school, Tversted Skole. Here Camillo’s Kitchen pops up and hosts salon evenings, communal dinners, summer lunch and a lot more.

The little village Tversted is known for knitwear, summer food, jazz, a breathtaking, white, long-stretched beach,
 a unique nature, for artisans, for antique and secondhand shops. And for human warmth, awareness and care. It was in this spirit that EAT & KNIT / SPIS & STRIK was created.
