Lower East

it’s the blog

This is the blog for lower east & lower east lab. A mix of stuff from our design & communication world (things we do, things we have done, and things we experience and get inspired from) and news from our lab – where all kind of actions and experiments can happen – that be workshops, creative meetings, urban safaris (with focus on start up, architecture, design or food), and exhibitions, events, dinners and a lot more.

Journey to lioness

September 11, 2018

We continue our series of breakfast talks in the lower east lab. This time our good friend, the Japanese artist Naho Iguchi come by the lab. The freshly made coffee and fresh baked bread will be on the table September 20th at 9:30.

“Journey to Lioness” is a framework for expressions by an artist, Naho, who thrives as a “Human Animal,” in order to reconnect to our environments: nature, cities, villages, and our inner worlds, all alike. Naho travels periodically to South Africa and spend time with lioness and the Lion Whisperer, who she considers as a role model of the Human Animal.

Come join us in her story-telling over morning coffee! Find out intentions of Journey to Lioness, get educated about wildlife and nature conservation, and motivated to go on a journey with her!

We at Lower East Lab host the event – we’ll give a short introduction to the world of Lower East and the Lower East Lab – you can also enjoy our current photo exhibition ‘today’s picture’ while you are here.

We are looking forward to seeing you in our lab!

Free entry – give us a sign if you want to join.
